There are a number of methods that you can use to withdraw any money that you have saved with us. Please remember that in order to remain a member of the Credit Union you must keep a minimum of £5 in your Share 1 account.

Visiting one of our Offices

You can make a withdrawal in person from any of offices (locations and opening times can be found here).

Please be aware that we may require advance notice for larger withdrawals so please contact the office before travelling.

By BACS transfer

If you have previously recorded your bank details with us, you can request a BACS transfer by any of the following methods

  1. On line balance transfer request (see below)
  2. Text balance transfer request (see below)
  3. Email request (from a previously registered email address)
  4. By phone (you will be required to answer security questions)
  5. If you have your wages or benefits paid into us, we can arrange for part of this payment to be automatically transferred to you bank.

On Line Balance Transfer

If you have registered for our On Line Services, you can see your current balances, last 6 months transactions and request a balance transfer.

Balances are updated hourly and transfer requests are actioned during office hours at 10am, 12pm and 4pm.

Text Balance and Transfer Requests

You can request a balance transfer via your mobile phone via text messages. The steps to do this are as follows:

1. Register for On Line Balances

In order to be able to use the texting service, you must be registered for On Line Services. This is because the Personal Identification Number (PIN) that you use for On Line Services will also be used when you ask for a balance via your mobile phone. To register for On Line Services click here.

2. Nominate a Bank Account

We will never ask you to put any account details into a text message, we will only transfer money to an account that you have previously told us to use. Contact your local office with details of the account you wish to nominate.

3. Request a Balance

Your balance information is updated hourly between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday. To request a balance text 01492 233115 with BAL123456/1111 where 123456 is your member number and 1111 is your PIN number.

4. Request a Balance

Once you have received the text with your balance, you can then request a transfer by texting back TRANSXX where XX is the amount you wish to be transferred. So if you wished to transfer £30 you would text back TRANS30.

All texts are charged at your standard rate. Balances are updated hourly and transfer requests are actioned during office hours at 10am, 12pm and 4pm.
